About Us

Matt Sorian - Founder, President, Tuner.
Before there was TT Performance, Matt had worked and owned numerous internet sites. These sites specialized in reviewing computer components and peripherals including, but not limited to, video cards, sound cards, monitors, motherboards, etc. These sites were compiled into a network - SoftwareTechs.com, HardwareTechs.com, Socket370.com, TNT3D.net, and TheTechs.net. Everyone asks where the "TT" comes from... The Techs Network, was the original hardware review site so in turn Matt took the "TT" from The Techs.

In early 1999, Matt bought his first f-body, a 1999 Pontiac Trans Am. Of course, the car didn't stay stock for long. Compiling his passion for cars and knowledge for computers, Matt opened TT Performance on October 16th, 1999. In late August 2003, Matt opened the business for installations in a home garage in Old Tappan NJ. Growing fast, the business moved to Saddle Brook NJ in February 2004 and now resides in Passaic, NJ.

    Nick Stevko - Vice President, Welder, Technician
    Nick had originally went for training to become an airplane technician. Being good personal friends with Matt, Matt had asked Nick to help out on construction of our shop in Saddle Brook. The part-time construction job, turned into a part-time mechanic job, and now Nick is a full-time, 6 days a week, Vice President and Shop Manager.

    Jay Partyka:
    Jay comes to us with many years of experience in suspension design. His home lift is our alignment rack with the Snap-On Aligner attached. He leads our road course program as the main director. Between in-house and trackside service, Jay is your man for building the ultimate road course machine. Jay also leads our safety fabrication, including all of our rollbars/cages, window nets, cutoff switches for NHRA/IHRA/SCCA compliance.

    Rob "Old Skool" Flores - Technician, Fabricator, Carb Tuning
    Rob comes to us with 15+ years of experience in the business. He is a GM and MOPAR fan. You can see him roaming the shop with the General Motors symbol tattoo'd on his left forearm. A real GM fanatic. He takes care of our Forced Induction

    Jake Soja - Shop Coordinator, Dynojet Technician
    Jake came to us after graduating Passaic County Technical Institute. He has been with us for years, he coordinates all of the shop operations. He also runs the Dynojet 224x. He's your man to talk to about dynoing your car!
